With more than three decades of experience in the construction, real estate, tourism and management sectors, he joined NORFIN in May 2025 and has held the position of Chief Operations Officer (COO) since February 2026.
He developed a significant part of his career at Sonae Capital, where he led the Business Development and Resort Management areas and, between 2018 and 2025, the group’s Real Estate business unit.
Previously, he served as Technical Director of a Spanish real estate development company and, at the beginning of his career, worked in the construction sector.
Since 2018, he has been a guest lecturer in the postgraduate programme in Real Estate Management and Valuation at the Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão (ISEG). Since 2022, he has been a member of the board of the Portuguese Association of Residential Tourism and Resorts (APR). Previously, he held several institutional roles in the tourism sector, namely at the Alentejo Tourism Promotion Agency, the Alentejo Regional Tourism Authority and the National Golf Industry Council (CNIG). He was a member of the Board of Directors of Infratróia between 2010 and 2017.
He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa and has completed executive education programmes at some of the most prestigious international business schools, including Harvard Business School, Wharton – University of Pennsylvania, London Business School, Kellogg School of Management, Nova SBE, Católica Lisbon and ISEG.
