The Troia Water Supply System consists of five water abstractions, three of which are for drinking water and two for raw water. All the water destined for public supply is of underground origin, being captured between 70 and 240 meters deep.

 

The System is also composed of three Consumption Water Lifting Stations and five reservoirs, having a total storage capacity of approximately 2600 m3.

 

The annual volume of water abstracted and treated in 2016 was 968 thousand m3, wich is an increase of 13% compared to 2015.

 

The Sanitation System, this is composed of seventeen Wastewater Lift Stations and one Waste Water Treatment Plant - WWTP (Estação de Tratamento de Águas Residuais - ETAR).
