She graduated in Nursing from the Escola Superior de Saúde da Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa in 2008.

She specialized in Maternal and Obstetric Health Nursing and has held a Master’s degree in this field since 2024.

She obtained the Certificate of Pedagogical Competences on 25 November 2019 and is a certified trainer accredited by the Institute for Employment and Vocational Training.

She was the author and speaker of the oral presentation entitled “Mobile Health and Social Support Unit of Grândola”, delivered on 28 February 2010 at the II National Congress of Community Care Units.

Throughout her career, she has held several positions related to health services and has been involved in different project teams, namely the GISA Project – Integrated Health and Environment Management. She was also part of the team that implemented the Long-Term and Maintenance Care Unit of the National Network for Integrated Continuing Care in the municipality of Grândola, within the Associação de Intervenção Social de Grândola (AISGRA).

She began working at ULSLA in December 2008, in the Orthopaedics Department of the Hospital do Litoral Alentejano, where she remained until 2013.

From 2013 to 2023, through mobility, she joined the Serra e Mar Community Care Unit (UCC) in Grândola, as part of the team that launched the Mobile Health and Social Support Unit of Grândola (UMS), a partnership between ULSLA and the Municipality of Grândola.

She worked on several UCC/UMS projects, particularly in monitoring elderly and socially isolated patients in situations of fragility and vulnerability, as well as patients with mental health conditions. She also took part in home visits carried out by the UCC and UCSP.

In addition, she developed several health literacy initiatives for different age groups. In recent years, she coordinated a seasonal awareness campaign in the municipality of Grândola on sun protection, aimed at children and young people, in partnership with other local institutions. She also collaborated with the School Health programme on health literacy initiatives regarding sexual and reproductive rights.

In April 2020, she joined the team responsible for testing and monitoring individuals with COVID-19, the outbreak response team for disease detection, and the COVID-19 vaccination team.

From 2023 to 2025, she worked at the Personalized Care Unit of the Grândola Health Centre, where she was responsible for the Women's Health area and the emergency response vehicle.

In 2025, she took office as a full-time Councillor of the Municipality of Grândola for the 2025–2029 municipal term.
