Infratróia strengthens its commitment to the peninsula’s environment.
Infratróia reinforces its commitment to the environmental preservation of the Tróia Peninsula by supporting coastal clean-up initiatives developed in collaboration with Brigada do Mar and Raiz Azul.
The first action took place between 14 and 18 January and resulted in the collection of 1,980 kg of waste, which was subsequently sent to an authorized destination. As part of this intervention, Infratróia also provided 100 pairs of gloves and 10 kg of bags with a capacity of 100 litres, contributing to the implementation of the initiative.
On 7 and 8 March, a second clean-up action was carried out, organized by Brigada do Mar, with the participation of eight volunteers. This intervention resulted in the collection of 2,680 kg of waste, corresponding to three actions conducted at Camarinha Beach.
In total, these two initiatives enabled the removal of more than 4.6 tonnes of waste, representing a significant contribution to the protection and enhancement of this important coastal ecosystem.
