Infratróia installed in several strategic locations in Tróia, in partnership with Resopre, the first 8 intelligent Big Belly litter bins, for the collection of undifferentiated waste.
The litter bins have an integrated low-consumption electric compactor, powered by a solar panel, which allows for an 85% more efficient collection process, allowing up to eight times more storage capacity, compared to a common litter bin. These equipments also have built-in ashtrays.
These advantages are combined with a permanent online monitoring system for the filling of bins, allowing greater efficiency in the organization of waste collection circuits, saving human and technical resources allocated to the operation.
These intelligent litter bins reduce the ecological footprint and promote urban hygiene in Tróia.
